We launched our appeal for £180,000 in 1999 and to date we have received £159,838. This generous and heartening response has enabled us to complete most of the work in the theatre, including the installation of the racing green seats.

The seat endowment scheme was launched earlier this year, with great success, as an addition to the existing 'Roof Angels' and 'Pit Devils' who so generously enabled us to replace our roof and dig an orchestra pit, but this does not prohibit an 'Angel' or a 'Devil' from also endowing a seat.

The names of the Seat Sponsors will be recorded on a brass engraved plaque to be fitted to the armrest of their chosen seats, their details will also be displayed in the foyer. The cost of endowing a seat is £200 for a single seat or £350 for two adjacent seats. If you wish to nominate which seats in the theatre you wish to bear your name, we shall be pleased to arrange this on a 'first come, first served' basis.
